Duke Krishnan is a trailblazing professional athlete from Malaysia, best known for his remarkable career in rugby. As the first Malaysian to break into Japan's Top League, Duke showcased his exceptional talent and relentless determination on the international stage. His journey didn’t stop there – Duke also made history as the first Malaysian to play in the United States Major League Rugby (USMLR), representing his country with pride and resilience.
After years of competing at the highest levels, Duke returned to Malaysia, retiring from professional rugby but carrying with him invaluable experience and a passion for sports development. Leveraging his background and insights gained from playing around the world, Duke co-founded Duke Performance Empire (DPE), a company dedicated to promoting a healthy lifestyle through athletic performance, empowerment, and combating obesity in Malaysia.
DPE's mission is to provide tools, coaching, and a community that fosters long-term, sustainable health improvements, bringing Duke’s love for fitness and performance full circle. His vision is to inspire others to live their best lives by focusing on self-discipline, wellness, and athletic growth.
In addition to his entrepreneurial pursuits, Duke has partnered with the Royal Selangor Club (RSC) Academy to further promote rugby in Malaysia. His collaboration with the RSC Academy aims to nurture the next generation of rugby talent in Malaysia, using his wealth of experience to help young athletes develop their skills and achieve their full potential.
