Rugby saved my life. With the easy access to bad influence at 19 years old, I would’ve gone down the wrong path.
The youth can be easily influenced with bad choices, without the right guidance. I strongly believe the future generation needs to be empowered with values that build character and mentorship that will give them a blueprint to maneuver in the game of life. Sports is a great avenue to teach that,
What can rugby do?
Rugby builds character through integrity, passion, solidarity, discipline, leadership and respect.
What can DPE do?
Using rugby as tool to reach out to the grassroots through our development program. We will equip the younger generations to learn how to overcome life challenges, understand gender equality, make better decisions, inspire positive social change in their own community to live a healthier lifestyle.
How?
Rugby gave me a guideline for my career path and through DPE I hope to open the door for talents who are undiscovered in Asia.
